NOTICE OF ADOPTION OF THE YARRABAH ABORIGINAL SHIRE COUNCIL PLANNING SCHEME AND PLANNING SCHEME  POLICIES

Notice is given under the Sustainable Planning Act 2009 and Statutory Guideline 01/16: Making or amending local planning instruments, that on 26 September 2017, Yarrabah Aboriginal Shire Council resolved to adopt the Yarrabah Aboriginal Shire Council Planning Scheme and the following planning scheme policies:

in Yarrabah

Planning scheme policy 3 – FNQROC development manual

The Yarrabah Aboriginal Shire Council Planning Scheme and planning scheme policies are the first Planning Scheme and planning scheme policies to be adopted for the Yarrabah Aboriginal Shire Council. The purpose and general effect of the planning scheme is to provide a framework for managing development in the planning scheme area of the Yarrabah Aboriginal Shire Council. The purpose and general effect of the planning scheme policies is to support the Yarrabah Aboriginal Shire Council Planning Scheme.

The Yarrabah Aboriginal Shire Council Planning Scheme and planning scheme policies have effect onandfrom 16 October 2017.

A copy of the Yarrabah Aboriginal Shire Council Planning Scheme and planning scheme policies will be available for inspection and purchase from the Council office at 56 Sawmill Road, Yarrabah, or an electronic copy can be viewed on the Council website.
